What is the best mixer with effects for Podcasting?

I want to start podcasting with an AKG Perception 100 Condenser Microphone on my computer. What is the best small and basic mixing board that I can connect to this microphone that will allow me to do effects as well?

    For that akg to prevent from destroying it will also allow you to maintain more usable recording interface via coathanger and can act as recording level.
    For spoken word it it it will be more usable recording level when you control plosives.
