I live in a really small town, with very few choices in radio stations.  That is why I started looking around on the Internet for online radio stations.  There is just one where my friends and I really got excited about among the many choices out there.  Music Videos

Our favorite IMRadio.  We always have it playing in the background when we are hanging out, doing homework, or getting ready to go out.  The variety of music and sheer talent are really awesome and would definitely impress you. 

You can choose from many stations.  Last time I checked, there were like 450, which is great.  It is sort of like YouTube for Music, since anyone can upload their songs to IMRadio, just like anyone can upload their videos on YouTube. 

Before, living in a small town would leave you behind in terms of new music.  Through IMRadio, we can now enjoy the freshest sings and the newest bands as well as artists from all over the United States.  The feeling of being bumpkins who never get to hear the hottest music in the country is no longer a problem.  Air Play

We are happier about IMRadio becase most of the songs there are considered rock and my friends and I are fond of rock music.  What’s so cool is that, without IMRadio, we might never have the opportunity to hear a lot of these artists.  What is so ironic about this is that compared to those songs you hear on traditional radio and Top 40 charts, these songs really sound better.  So much better! 

A few bands have really stood out to us, to the point where we are positive they are destined for fame.  What we really like the most is the web site’s feature where fans can communicate with their favorite bands.  Of course, we don’t expect to form long-term friendships with the bands or stalk them or anything.  But it is such a kick to send a message, just to let them know that we are out there and love what they are doing. 

As you scroll down a bit on  the IMRadio’s home page, you will see a “Featured Bands” header with images that look like little CD covers.  I always love to click on a random image and listen to a song by that artist.  If I do not like the song, I just move on until I find a song that suits my taste.  It is like tuning the seek button on your radio until you find the best channel where to tune in, only this one is jittier than the other.  Online Radio

I have dreamed of hearing my tunes on the radio since I was a little kid, pretending to play my toy guitar along with videos on MTV.  But it can be pretty difficult to get air time, even if you’re a really good band.  Music Videos

Five years ago, I was able to form a band and obtain some opportunities to play on some local stations.  Although luck is not the correct word.  We exhausted effort in order to meet the right people who got us on air.  You can call that real challenge. 

It is really unfortunate for new artists knowing that radio stations do not put unknowns to their rotation most of the time, which is why now new bands face a great challenge in having their songs at least heard.  The bands that you hear on the radio are not necessarily the most talented.  Most of the time, they are just the lucky ones with accesses to most financial back-ups and marketing efforts. 

It is good to hear that the Internet now intervenes in changing the industry by giving new bands simple breaks and chances to be heard.  This web site actually claims and say that it is by musicians, for musicians and evidently, it sure is.  I was able to register for an account quickly, and then I uploaded several of our song files into IMRadio’s rotation, and now our songs are receiving free radio airplay in more than 100 countries.  Air Play

Singularity through radio songs is significant to people like me belonging to the young generation. It does not take one to be an Internet savvy to use the website so you would not encounter any difficulty in navigating the website. Moreover, the playlist is composed of various genres, although rock songs are more common than others. You will just be surprised of being carried away by the awesome melodies and compositions of the songs. You will be finding yourself holding on and listening to IMRadio because it caters to various sounds, types of music, and fresh songs even if some of the songs are not in English. If only my friends and I know how to play instruments, we would have created a band and uploaded our song too. Music Videos

IMRadio is our favorite from all online radios because it provides a communication channel where fans can easily chat with the bands. A short profile of each singer or band is is provided where they can chat with their local or foreign fans whenever they want to. Although there are some musicians that are not fond of communicating with their fans, some are easy to get along and communicate with.

IMRadio is not suppressed when it comes to censorship. Ehich means you can listen to raw music. You can hear bands scream, curse, and blast their instruments if you are into metallic rock. The theme or message of the songs in IMRadio is varied so you can surely find several songs that you can relate to. One of the musicians that my friends love is Sakis Gouzonis, who released his New Earth Album which included Elohim, Eternal Peace and From the Sky.  Internet Radio Station
