anyway to get rid of the extreme reverb? I cant even make out things I record cause of so much echo.

First, go to EDIT then PREFERENCES and make sure you have your mic input set to your PC soundcard (assuming you have your mic hooked to your PC) and then save your preferences. If this still doesn’t work, make sure you have your mic plugged into the right port on your soundcard. his will make a big difference.
